Climate and weather

Sicily experiences a typical Mediterranean climate with mild and wet winters and hot, dry summers with very changeable intermediate seasons. The warmest weather lasts from July to August. And from December until February it is pretty cold. Rainfall occurs very rarely. Mainly during winters, it rains a little bit.

It is very windy on the island. African sirocco brings heat and sandstorms. The tourist season lasts here from May until October, but in November and April, the weather is also warm and pleasant.
