Nha Trang – Beach Capital of Vietnam

Nha Trang is a coastal city in Vietnam. This is a noisy and full of energy holiday resort. Nha Trang attracts thousands of tourists every year. There are a lot of entertainments in this city. Some people come here to admire so beautiful natural landscapes and enjoy the beach rest, others want to experience active nightlife in the local venues. Many tourists come here also to enjoy incredible SPA-procedures and diving.

Climate and weather


Nha Trang experiences a tropical savanna climate with a long dry season from January to August and a shorter wet season from September to December. The rainfalls are strong but short during this period. January and February are the coldest months here, that is why the tourists choose a period of time from May until August for the vacation here.  The average temperature is +28 °C during these months and the weather is very pleasant and comfortable.

Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 C.E. This is one of the main sights in Nha Trang. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high.

Long Son Pagoda built in 1886 is also an important historical landmark of the city. It is a Buddhist temple with a large white concrete statue of Gautama Buddha.

Nha Trang Cathedral is another pride of the city. This majestic cathedral is built in Gothic style.

Thap Tram Huong is a tourist symbol of Nha Trang. It is located in the centre of the major waterfront.

You should also visit Dien Khanh Citadel. This is the oldest citadel in Southern Vietnam.

Bao Dai Villas are the most interesting open-air museum. There are five decorated buildings built in the French style with the incredibly persisted interior and picturesque gardens around.

You should also visit Alexandre Yersin Museum and Khánh Hòa Museum.

If you like natural landscapes, you should admire Yang Bay Tourist Park with its breathtaking waterfalls, Ba Ho Waterfall and Suối Tiên. Also the stone garden Nui Hon Chong is very impressive. The sunsets are amazing here.

After excursion and long walks, you can enjoy a wonderful massage in the local SPA-centres.
