The region is very famous for its beaches. Versilia is a popular holiday resort with the luxury beaches. However, there are so many tourists, especially in Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi that even for 35 EUR a day it is very difficult to find a free space.

Livorno and Monte Argentario are less prestigious, but also beautiful. Rosignano is the only beach in Europe that has such white sand like the Caribbean.

The fans of crystal clear water prefer to rest on Elba. This is a little a Mediterranean island in Tuscany. Beaches of Elba are famous for colourful sand and free access.

Elba and Isola del Giglio attract mostly professionals by crystal clear water, original nature and the rich underwater world.
